The Quintus Partnership provides customers with a fast and cost effective way to purchase product from numerous growers with just one order and one delivery.

As orders are received growers are notified of each customer's requirements. These orders are then picked and sent on trollies to The Quintus Partnership's consolidation centre based at D&R Simmons in Spalding, which for most growers is just a short trip away.

Once the product arrives from the various nurseries at D&R Simmons each growers product is checked against orders, collated and made up into individual customer orders. On completion of each order the trollies are loaded on to specialist plant hauliers vehicles and delivered direct to each customer within 48 hrs of leaving Spalding.

This system provides the customer with a flexible method of ordering small or large amounts of product from numerous growers, without having to meet individual growers minimum order levels. Based on a minimum of two consolidated trollies per drop, customers can order as little as one shelf of product from a grower, which provides an ideal way to purchase fresh stock and reducing waste, especially during quiet sales periods.

Another major benefit is the significant reduction in vehicle movements around the country, helping to greatly reduce the group members carbon footprint.
